45th Annual Invitational

August 2 - 3, 2008

This is a sanctioned Essex County PHRF Association double counter regatta for Lake St. Clair and ECPHRF boat of the year.

South Port Sailing Club invites all self righting, self bailing sailboats to particpate in our Annual Invitation Regatta.
Saturday's long distance race takes place in the western portion of Lake St. Clair. Starting from the center mark of the SPSC modified Olympic course boats sail to R20, then to R6 and back to the start mark to finish. Total distance 13.9NM. Beer, snacks and socializing back at the club.

Sunday following a continental breakfast there will be two races using South Port Sailing Clubs modified Olympic course. Each race is 7NM, with a short break between races.

Please be sure to come back to SPSC for dinner. Dinner will be served at 1600hrs giving visiting boats lots of time to return to their home ports.
