48th Annual Invitational Regatta
August 13th–14th, 2011

This is a sanctioned Essex County PHRF Association double counter regatta for Lake St. Clair and ECPHRF boat of the year.

South Port Sailing Club invites all self righting, self bailing sailboats to particpate in our Annual Invitation Regatta.

Friday evening will be a popcorn and movie night.

Saturday's long distance race takes place in the western portion of Lake St. Clair. Starting from the center mark of the SPSC modified Olympic course boats sail to R20, then to R6 and back to the start mark to finish. Total distance 13.9NM.

Sunday, following a continental breakfast there will be two races using South Port Sailing Clubs modified Olympic course. Each race is 6.6NM, with a short break between races.

Registration click here. This is a PDF form which can be filled out on your computer. After having entered the data, please print out and sign the paper copy and then hit the "Preregister via the web" button at the bottom of the PDF. This will send yor registration information to SPSC.

Cost: $30.00 per boat. Dinner will be $20 a plate.

Awards: Awards will be South Port Sailing Club Invitational Regatta Flags. Top three flags will be awarded in classes with seven boats or more.

Water Depth:
There is excellent water depth this year. Deep wells are available and there is plenty of water through the entrance channel and creek. Feel free to contact the harbourmaster beforehand for well assignments.

1100hrs Skipper's Meeting
1255hrs First Warning Signal.
After Race Memphis themed party back at the club. All welcome.
Sunday
0730hrs to 0830hrs Continental Breakfast.
0955hrs First Warning signal for first race of the day. No race will be started after 1300hrs.
Approx. 1 hrs after race. Awards.
