2008 Shark Provincial Championships

This Counter Regatta is sanctioned by the Canadian Shark Class Association.

Notice of Race

You are hereby cordially invited to attend the Shark Provincial Championships, being held at South Port Sailing Club, July 5th and 6th, 2008. This is a counter regatta for the Canadian Shark Class Association (CSCA) Shark of the Year.

Friday
1800hrs to 2000hrs Registration and Launch
Saturday
0800hrs to 0900hrs Registration and Launch
0900hrs Skippers Meeting
1030hrs Warning Gun - Race One
1900hrs Dinner at the Club
Sunday
0700hrs to 0900hrs Continental Breakfast
1000hrs First Gun
Approx. half hour after RC docks. Snacks, beer and awards at the club before departure.
A maximum of six races will be sailed over two days. No warning signal will be made after 1600hrs on Saturday and 1430hrs on Sunday.

Registration:
Email notification to mo@greatadventuretours.com of a boat's intention to compete is requested as a courtesy.

Fee: $100.00, includes three dinner tickets


Sailing Instructions:
Sailing instructions will be made available here as soon as they are available.

Prizes and Trophies:
The winner will be presented with the Shark Provincial Trophy. Keeper prizes will be awarded to the top 5 skipper and crews. A mid fleet prize will also be awarded.

Accommodations/Camping:
Campers are welcome to use the grounds South/East of the club house. RV's are asked to park on the Sought side of the parking lot. Some billeting is available, contact Mo Regneir for further details.
