Fall Furl

Sat Oct 23 (rain date Sun 24)

The Fall Furl is our annual Awards Banquet and Dinner. It is open to all club members, their families and crew. It is a celebration of the past year's achievements as well as a chance to remember and thank those that made those achievements possible.

Come out and celebrate the past sailing season and congratulate the Monday and Thursday night sailors on their accomplishments.

To accommodate COVID restrictions and make this event more accessible to all members this year's year end celebration and racing awards presentation will be held outside at the club.

You will need to dress warm.... sailors are a hardy lot, so you've got this!

We will be serving a variety of soups and fall desserts to keep you warm and toasty and the fire will be going for extra heat.

Sail-A-Bration

Sun August 8

Come out to the club

For those new to the club Sail-A-Bration is our annual kick off to the sailing season (a little late this year) The fun starts with a sail past of the Commodore’s boat out in the lake around 2:00 pm, where you can pick up your bottle of South Port wine. If the weather is nice stay out on the lake for a while or head back in for a visit on the lawn with fellow members. A few activities will be available, or just sit and relax. Feel free to bring lawn chairs for your comfort.

At about 5:00 pm we will be serving a simple dinner of broasted chicken and local corn. This year we ask that you bring your own sides and utensils to keep everything ‘Covid friendly’. If you only plan to do the Sail past, let me know so the Commodore has an adequate supply of pick up’s on board. You will find the reservation flyer on page 6.
