By-Laws & Articles of Incorporation

Note that the by-laws can be changed by a two-thirds majority of the quorum of an executive meeting but require simple majority confirmation by at the annual general meeting to stay in effect. See section 50 and 51 of the by-laws for more info. The Letters Patent (the old name for the Articles of Incorporation) can only be changed with an application to the province.

Rules, Regulations & Policies

Regulations on the membership (a.k.a. rules) are set by the executive as per section 52 of the by-laws. Policies are general organizational principles by which the club operates and such policies can include regulations on members.
